Dr. Siddique is a health services and health equity researcher, and a quality and patient safety leader, with funding from NIH, AHRQ, and national foundations. She is Assistant Professor of Medicine in the Division of Gastroenterology, Senior Fellow at the Leonard Davis Institute for Health Economics, and Senior Scholar for the Center for Clinical Epidemiology and Biostatistics at the University of Pennsylvania. She holds two notable health system roles for Penn Medicine: Director of Research for the Center for Healthcare Improvement and Patient Safety (CHIPS) and Associate Director for Research for the Center for Evidence-based Practice (CEP). Recently Dr. Siddique's scholarship has focused on assessing and revising algorithms and guidelines to promote health equity.
